LIFELONG LEARNING
Learning is not only key in supporting people, teams, and organizations in continuously growing and reaching their goals, but also enables them to proactively shape the future they envision. Throughout my career, I have applied myself to understanding how learning works and how it can effectively be leveraged. My expertise spans across different sectors, equipping me with a unique perspective on fostering a culture of continuous learning in different settings. I taught German as a foreign language at the University of British Columbia and Queen’s University and took didactics courses that helped me design effective learning journeys. Seeking innovative approaches, I later joined the World Economic Forum as a Senior Manager, leading expert groups on education and innovation while exploring emerging Learning & Development models such as Design Thinking, Project-Based Learning or Peer to Peer and Collaborative Learning that can be integrated into innovation processes and product development.
Building on this foundation, I became an ICF certified coach with Erickson College International, working with executives in technology companies helping them identify skills gaps and tailor learning opportunities to business needs. In addition, I have supported large-scale change initiatives, such as the transition from traditional ways of interacting to social media and online collaboration at the World Economic Forum. As a strategic advisor for the Unterwasserwelten Network in Germany, together with the leadership team, we designed and implemented a L&D strategy that is deeply embedded in the organization’s culture, which has enabled the network to sustain its growth in a self-organized fashion over the past eight years.
