CREATIVITY

People often tell me that they are not creative and by doing so have missed the many ways in which they have been creative all day long. Creativity isn’t limited to dipping a brush in paint or tailoring outfits. It is equally applied by engineers building bridges as by kindergartners assembling their breakfast.

Creativity can be driven by necessity when we are forced to work under constraints and have to come up with new solutions just as well during periods in which we have the freedom to choose from multiple resources and can combine different approaches. In the world of work, the Design Thinking methodology has enabled a way of approaching problem solving with both modalities, the creativity to think wide, generate ideas and prototype fast as well as the ability to discern, narrow down and decide.

INNOVATION

I am an ICF certified coach and Erickson trained trainer and am also in the process of completing my furthering professional education in Design Thinking with Stanford University. I have offered creativity, storytelling and innovation workshops in different industries among them the creative, sustainability, academic and start-up sector.

I most enjoy working with teams that need to embed innovation processes into their day to day work or want to foster a team culture in which creativity can thrive.
